Wellness

Our Wellness exams are recommended once to twice a year to ensure we stay current with your pets's health through out their life. We are here to help with the best options to maintain the longevity of your pet as their needs change. We offer vaccinations that are needed based on your pet's individual  lifestyle and risk factors. We believe in evidence based medicine and keeping owners active and educated in the care of their pets. The old adage, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" certainly holds true when it comes to pet health. The cost of prevention is often a fraction of the cost of treating a disease or problem once it has become advanced, and early diagnosis and treatment of developing problems or diseases can increase the likelihood of successful outcomes.
Preventive healthcare involves a multi-faceted approach that includes veterinary evaluation of your pet's overall health and risks of disease or other health problems. Based on the findings, we will provide you with recommendations for your pet's nutrition, dental care, vaccinations and heart worm/flea/tick prevention, as well as recommendations specifically tailored to your pet's health status and risk factors.
Please be sure to fill out the Wellness Checklist for you pet/'s 24-48 hours before you pet's visit.
