Becky holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Veterinary Technician Diploma, and has been part of the veterinary field for over 25 years. Her experience and leadership play a key role in keeping the hospital running smoothly and supporting both the team and clients.

Becky loves veterinary medicine because it brings together people, animals, and purpose—something she finds deeply rewarding every day. She has a soft spot for bully breeds and Persian cats and is very much a “cat person,” with several feline companions at home (she’s lost count!).

Outside of work, Becky coaches competitive gymnastics and enjoys unwinding with crochet projects. When she’s not busy managing the clinic, you might find her enjoying a plate of penne alla vodka or spending time with her husband, daughters and pets.

Ruth has been a Registered Veterinary Technician for over 15 years, with experience in both general practice and emergency medicine. Her broad clinical background allows her to support patients and clients through a wide range of situations with skill and compassion.

Ruth’s favourite part of veterinary medicine is helping clients care for the pets they love most. At home, she has a truly impressive animal family that includes four dogs, four cats, seven guinea pigs, a pot-bellied pig, a horse, and chickens. One of her cats, Guppy, is also a blood donor—helping save lives in a very special way.

Outside of work, Ruth enjoys time with her children and embracing life surrounded by animals of all kinds.

Brian earned his Veterinary Technology diploma in Wildlife Rehabilitation from Northern College and has been working in veterinary medicine for over 10 years, including five years as a Registered Veterinary Technician.

He loves connecting with clients and their pets and has a special memory of working with a snowy owl during school—it made him feel like he was in Harry Potter! Brian shares his home with two dogs, Zeus (a Great Pyrenees-Golden Retriever cross) and Ciera (a Black Labrador).

Outside of work, Brian enjoys pizza at any meal, motorcycles, cars, and has been passionate about LARP (Live Action Role Play) for nearly a decade—bringing his favorite video games and TV shows to life in real time.

Jessica is a Registered Veterinary Technician with a diverse educational background, including an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, a Publishing Certificate from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson), and a Veterinary Technician Diploma from Seneca College.

Jessica has a strong interest in pharmacology and enjoys the important role it plays in patient care. Her attention to detail and love of learning help support both the medical team and the pets she cares for every day.

Outside of the clinic, Jessica is an avid horse rider and lifelong horse lover. At home, she shares her life with one dog—and while she’s all about precision at work, she once famously wore her socks inside out simply because it was more comfortable.

Sue has been practicing veterinary medicine for nearly 29 years. She holds a General Arts and Science Diploma and a Veterinary Technician Diploma from St. Clair College, as well as one year toward a Bachelor of Arts. Her extensive experience allows her to provide skilled, compassionate care to both pets and their owners.

Sue loves supporting the long-lasting bond between pets and people, with a special fondness for horses, Cocker Spaniels, and terriers.

Outside of work, Sue enjoys chocolate (enthusiastically!) and positive reinforcement training with her horse, Rosie. She has taught Rosie to look away, remove people’s hats, and smile—and is currently working on teaching her the bow! At home, Sue shares her life with two dogs, Ben (Whoodle) and Pixie (American Cocker Spaniel), and Rosie the horse.

Mckenna completed her Pre-Health Sciences and Animal Care programs before earning her Veterinary Technician Diploma, including hands-on placements. She has been working in veterinary medicine for eight years and brings both technical skill and compassionate client care to her dual role as a Veterinary Technician and Reception team member.

Mckenna has a special interest in dental care and post-surgical patient support, and she finds it especially rewarding to watch pets recover and regain their comfort and mobility over time. She is passionate about helping patients through every stage of healing.

Outside of the clinic, Mckenna is a fan of EDM concerts and festivals and has a soft spot for Highland cows. At home, she shares her life with Charlie the Shih-Poo and Zeus the black domestic short-haired cat. Something that often surprises people—she also owns and rides a sport motorcycle.

Abby completed three years studying Animal Biology at the University of Guelph and is currently a second-year veterinary student at the Ontario Veterinary College. She brings curiosity, enthusiasm, and a strong interest in learning to her role as an Animal Care Attendant.

Abby loves the variety that veterinary medicine offers and enjoys the opportunity to work with and learn about many different species. Polar bears are her favourite animal, and she’s always happy with a bowl of ramen after a busy day. While she doesn't currently have pets of her own, her passion for animal care is clear in everything she does.

Dayna has a soft spot for raccoons and is looking forward to welcoming a new kitten at home — her daughter has already decided it will be named Cucumber! Outside of work, she enjoys making candles and exploring creative projects.

Devon brings over 20 years of experience in reception and client care to the Glendale team and has been a valued part of the clinic since 2021. She is often the first friendly face clients meet and takes pride in helping both pets and their people feel welcome and supported.

Devon has a special love for Keeshonden, a spitz breed of dog that she is deeply involved in preserving and promoting through education and advocacy. She is an active member of multiple kennel clubs across Canada and the U.S. and currently serves as President of the Keeshond Club of Ontario, along with holding leadership roles in breed rescue and local kennel associations.

Outside of work, Devon enjoys great local food—Pia’s on Broadway (in Orangeville) being a favourite—and shares her home with several four-legged family members. Life is full of fluff, a little chaos, and lots of love! Devon especially enjoys working in veterinary medicine because it allows her to spend her days supporting treasured pets and their families along side of an incredibly caring team.

Mel has been part of the Glendale family since high school, first joining the team in Grade 10 and continuing her career here while earning her Bachelor of Biology in 2019. Over the years, she has worked both full-time and part-time, bringing experience, familiarity, and a deep connection to the clinic and its clients.

Mel loves the variety that veterinary medicine brings and especially enjoys seeing the sweetest pets come through the doors each day. She has a special fondness for elephants and is always happy to meet new furry faces.

Outside of work, Mel teaches yoga and fitness and shares her home with a very lively pack of eight dogs—including five Pomeranians, a German Shepherd, a Pekingese mix, and a Chihuahua mix. Something that often surprises people: Mel speaks three languages fluently—English, Portuguese, and Spanish!

Jordyn completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Biology at the University of Guelph and is currently in her third year of veterinary school at the Ontario Veterinary College. She brings enthusiasm, compassion, and a strong love of learning to her role in Client & Animal Care.

Jordyn loves that veterinary medicine offers constant opportunities to learn—both inside and outside of school—and finds her passion for the profession growing every day. A memorable milestone in her journey was completing her first surgery, a canine spay, in November.

Outside of the clinic, Jordyn has a soft spot for Golden Retrievers and mac and cheese. She shares her home with five pets: three cats—Ollie, Charlie, and Tito—and two dogs, Max and Louie. Something that often surprises people is her love of working with wildlife, especially Canada geese.
