Mona Persaud, Client Care Representative, ACA
Mona completed her studies in the field of Law and has obtained her BA Honours Degree in Criminology through Humber College, as well as a certificate in Criminal Justice from Ryerson University. Upon transitioning to a vegan lifestyle 5 years ago, Mona realized she was not on the right career path for herself. Mona often engages in animal rights activism and advocacy, and hopes to begin a career that will allow her an opportunity to be a voice for the animals and change the laws pertaining to animals in the agricultural industry nationwide.
Mona is currently a mother to nine rescue animals! Her tribe includes three rabbits: Panda, Pluto and Poe, and six cats: Grayson, Gemini, Mr. Sunshine, Panther, Shadeaux and Dandelion. She anticipates herself owning and operating her own rescue sanctuary in the future – which will include a facility for senior animals specifically and will be welcoming many farmed animals to take residence.
