What happens to our hospitalized animals once the clinic is closed? We are happy you asked! We have a live-link camera system set up in our hospital wards and kennel area that allows Dr. Hooper to log onto and monitor the patient from her home. Unfortunately it isn’t feasible to have a veterinarian watching your pet in the same room 24-7, but this is the next best thing.
When the hospital is closed, Dr. Hooper logs onto our video camera system on her home laptop and is able to watch and listen to your pet all night long. From this system, Dr. Hooper can tell is there is a problem or concern, and if so, she will come to the clinic to attend to your pet. If your pet is resting comfortably during the night, we don’t want to disturb them by coming into the clinic and turning on or off the lights.
