Ilse Funes-Gonzalez, RVT
Ilse Julieta Funes-Gonzalez graduated in 2021 from the Sheridan College Veterinary Technician program and successfully wrote the VTNE exam. She has been working with companion animals for more than 10 years, having worked in veterinary medicine in Mexico before she came to Canada.
Ilse joined the Glendale Team in January 2021. She is passionate about building relationships with her patients in order to improve their experience and care while in the clinic.
Ilse knew from a young age that her passion was taking care of animals and has never considered a different career path. She is looking to learning more through continuing education in topics such as behavior, dentistry, pain management and alternative medicine options.
Ilse enjoys spending her home time with her seven year old son, her husband and her mom. She also shares her home with two lovely cats and a chihuahua. Her hobbies are dancing Tango or Latin Rhythms and watching TV.
